These burgers are my all time favorite! They are quick and easy to make. Shiitake mushrooms have a wide array of health benefits and have been used medicinally by the Chinese for centuries. They boost the immune system, have iron and also cardiovascular benefits as well. Adding these to your burgers makes them something you can feel good about feeding your family!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs of grassfed ground meat
3 green scallions
1-2 cloves of garlic
1/2 cup sliced shiitake mushrooms
2 Tablespoons coconut aminos
2 tsp. adobo seasoning
What you do:
Finely chop up mushrooms, green scallions and garlic. Combine with adobo and coconut aminos. Mix by hand with ground meat.
Pat out into burgers. I used organic turkey for these.
Grill or bake on 350 degrees for 30 mins or until done.
Enjoy with all the dressings!
